There had been speculation that Tottenham Hotspur had been watching the Euro 2000 star, who has suffered from the almost impossible task of replacing Viola icon Gabriel Batistuta since arriving at the club last summer.
However, Pavone insists that only two clubs had bid for the under-fire international, Marseille and Olympiakos.
"We have been in England in order to play some friendly matches," said Pavone. "But we have not received any offers from English clubs for Nuno Gomes.
"The only formal bids for the player have been, up to this point, those of Olympiakos and Marseille - but no further negotiations have taken place.
"I confirm once more that we will not be selling anybody before the Italian Suppercoppa against Roma."
