CARDIFF CITY have confirmed their interest in signing ten players for next season, with Bluebirds owner Sam Hammam having made bids for three promising talents.
The Ninian Park club are gearing up for the new campaign in Division One by making bids for Crewe Alexandra striker Rob Hulse and Oldham Athletic's talented defensive duo of Fitz Hall and Chris Armstrong.
Hulse could cost the South Wales outfit around £700,000 while Hall and Armstrong may both be available for a low fee of £400,000, as the cash-strapped Latics are currently suffering severe financial difficulties.
Cardiff have also confirmed their interest in several other players - former Charlton Athletic man John Robinson, Tottenham's Gary Doherty and Cambridge United's Dave Kitson.
The Wimbledon quartet of Nigel Reo-Coker, Lionel Morgan, Joel McAnuff and Robert Gier have also gained the interest of The Bluebirds.
Despite the interest in a number of players, Cardiff boss Lennie Lawrence has stated that any deals will take time to complete.
"We are making good progress, but it's going to be a couple of weeks at least before any deal is finalised," said Lawrence.
