Oldham Athletic have extended the loan of Spurs midfielder Mark Hughes.
Oldham Athletic have extended the loan of midfielder Mark Hughes from Premiership side Tottenham Hotspur.The youngster will remain at Boundary Park until February 19 after failing to agree personal terms on a possible permanent move on Friday.
Spurs had agreed to release the Ulsterman from his contract at White Hart Lane in order to complete a permanent switch to Brian Talbot's side, but a temporary extension could only be agreed at this stage.
Another loanee in Blackburn Rovers defender Alex Bruce will also be allowed to stay on loan for up to three months with The Latics.
