Crystal Palace have again reiterated that Wayne Routledge will not leave in January.Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has reiterated his stance that Wayne Routledge will not leave the club during the transfer window.
Tottenham have seen two bids for the England Under-21 star rejected, and seemed ready to shelve their interest until the summer when Routledge becomes a free agent.
However, it had been suggested that a deal could still be pushed through before the transfer window closes on Monday.
Jordan, though, is adamant the 20-year-old winger will be staying put, and feels the player should be showing Palace more loyalty.
"I've spoken with Spurs' sporting director Frank Arnesen, but Wayne won't be leaving," Jordan stated.
"I've told Wayne that if he believes he is going to be a player, then he should stay here under manager Iain Dowie and learn his trade.
"After educating the boy, investing in him and giving him a good contract, we're entitled to some loyalty."
Meanwhile, reports in Holland claim ADO Den Haag have clinched a deal to take Spurs youngster Edson Silva on loan for the rest of the season.
Edson moved to White Hart Lane last summer when he followed Frank Arnesen from PSV Eindhoven.
However, he has not yet broken into boss Martin Jol's first-team plans and will now look for regular action back in De Eredivisie.
