The former Fulham defender had been linked with a return to The Premiership, with Tottenham purportedly considering a bid for the Morocco international.
Turkish giants Galatasaray are also admirers of the 26-year-old but Ouaddou has delivered a snub to his suitors by deciding to stay with Rennes.
"I am happy to continue this adventure," said Ouaddou.
"I am sure that there will be something interesting to do next year."
Ouaddou has spent the past two seasons at Rennes and has impressed in defence after failing to shine at Fulham.
During two years at Craven Cottage, after a £2 million switch from Nancy, Ouaddou made just 28 appearances for the West London side before linking up with Rennes.
