Tottenham are the latest side to be linked with a move for Inter's Edgar Davids.Tottenham are the latest side to be linked with a move for Internazionale's out-of-favour midfielder Edgar Davids.
Spurs have lost the services of Simon Davies, and, although they acquired Aaron Lennon and Wayne Routledge, want to add some steel and experience in the middle of the park.
A host of clubs have been tipped to sign the experienced Dutch ace, who is believed to be out of Roberto Mancini's plans next season.
Spurs have reportedly approached Inter with a view to acquiring Davids' services, although it is unclear whether any kind of agreement has been reached.
A number of Premiership clubs have also been linked with the 32-year-old tough-tackling midfielder, including Everton and newly-promoted West Ham.
Inter are looking to sell before they can buy, with Luis Figo and Walter Samuel tipped to join the Nerazzurri, and Davids is high on the club's departure list.
A stumbling block to the Dutch star's exit could be the player himself as he is not just looking to secure first-team football, but also remain at a competitive club.
