Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan is desperate to keep Victor Moses.
Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan claims Tottenham broke Premiership rules to agree a deal with Wayne Routledge, and he will endeavour to ensure the same thing does not happen with Victor Moses.
Jordan is still fuming at the way winger Routledge was lured to Spurs this summer and is concerned 14-year-old Moses will also become a target for bigger clubs.
"Despite being well looked after by the club and by me personally, he agreed his move to Spurs a full year before he left," Jordan said in his weekly column in The Observer.
"The same summer we went up to The Premiership."
Moses is catching the eye at youth level for The Eagles and it will not take long for the Premiership vultures to start circling.
"We have a 14-year-old at the moment called Victor Moses," he stated. "He's already had pieces about him in the national press.
"Players like Victor, and slightly older players like [Theo] Walcott [at Southampton], just need to block their ears and understand one thing.
"If they believe they're good enough, they should stay at a club that will give them the chance to play at the top level as a teenager, not go on to the conveyor belt elsewhere for more cash."
