Opta compare Mido's record with that of Tottenham's other strikers.
Despite already having Robbie Keane, Jermain Defoe and summer signing Dimitar Berbatov on the books at White Hart Lane, Martin Jol has succeeded in bringing Egyptian striker Mido back to North London on a permanent basis.
During the summer, the targetman's future was uncertain, with the likes of Blackburn Rovers vying to lure him away from Roma.
However, his impressive performances on loan for The Lilywhites last season have convinced Jol and co. to finalise a deal just days before the transfer window shuts.
Last term Mido netted 11 times in 27 league appearances, registering an impressive chance conversion rate of 20 percent, a better figure than that of either Defoe in The Premiership or Berbatov in the Bundesliga.
Mido's haul of six assists was also impressive, with only Berbatov having a hand in more league goals last season.
|League 2005/06||Mido||Keane||Defoe|| ||Berbatov|

|Shots On Target||26||40||43|| ||63|
|Shots Off Target||30||19||27|| ||48|
|Shooting Accuracy||46%||68%||61%|| ||57%|
|Chance Conversion||20%||27%||13%|| ||19%|
|Minutes per Goal||191.8||143.9||244.7|| ||145.7|

With four experienced quality strikers now at his command, Jol will be confident that Spurs can mount a serious challenge to the big four in The Premiership, despite their disappointing start to the campaign.
