QPR have signed Derby County goalkeeper Lee Camp on three-month loan deal.
Queens Park Rangers have signed Derby County goalkeeper Lee Camp on three-month loan deal.
The talented 22-year-old is already well acquainted with Loftus Road having had a spell there three years ago, helping QPR to promotion from League One.
Rangers boss John Gregory is confident the capture of Camp will boost competition for places at the Championship strugglers.
"We've been monitoring his situation for a while now and we looked at him in January, but it just wasn't plausible," said Gregory.
"The timing is far better now though and we're delighted to have him on board.
"First and foremost he's an excellent all-round goalkeeper.
"He's a decent shot-stopper, commands his box well and is a good kicker of a football."
Meanwhile, QPR chairman Gianni Paladini has confirmed that he rejected interest from the Premiership in a trio of his top players.
Paladini claims that Lee Cook, Ray Jones and Dexter Blackstock all attracted attention from further up the football pyramid in the January transfer window.
"It would have been easy for us to sell our best players, because we had offers from Fulham, Tottenham, Manchester City and Wigan.
"But we want to keep the team together. It is something we are determined to do.
"Why rush into selling our best players?"
