Sevilla striker Fredi Kanoute is not confident ahead of the Uefa Cup clash with Spurs.
Sevilla striker Fredi Kanoute has admitted he is not feeling confident about his side's upcoming Uefa Cup clash with Tottenham.
The former Spurs man, 29, feels that his current side face a mammoth task if they are to progress to the semi-finals of the competition they won last year.
"I do not believe Sevilla are the favourites for the game even though we are the champions," he said.
"Spurs have a very good team. I know the club from my time as a player, and it is not possible to be confident about the two matches.
"I think we have the ability to win, but it will take a massive effort. It is necessary for us to go to London having had a good result at home and without having conceded.
"I believe it will be a round with many goals.
"With men like Defoe and Keane, they are dangerous. I don't know Berbatov all that well, but the reports say he is excellent. Tottenham have a dangerous attack and a strong defence."
But Kanoute did claim he was pleased to face his old club.
"Personally, I am happy with the draw and the chance to return to my former club, but I am not aiming for revenge. For me, football is a game and not a war."
