Martin Jol is backing Kevin-Prince Boateng to put his troubled past behind him at Tottenham.
The German midfielder has been dubbed a trouble-maker, although Jol does not see the 20-year-old upsetting the apple cart.
In fact, Jol believes that if Boateng adapts well to Spurs' style of football then he could become a real asset for the club.
"He is a Spurs player now and he will play in our style, in our character," stated Jol.
"If he does that, we've signed the best talent in Germany.
"I know everything about Boateng. People exaggerate problems with some players, but I am convinced he'll be good for us."
