Gers assistant wants Hutton stay
Rangers assistant manager Ally McCoist has played down talk that Tottenham have made a new move for Alan Hutton.
Reports have suggested that Tottenham are planning a new bid for the Scottish international before the close of the transfer window with the player having had a change of heart over the move.
Spurs agreed a fee with Rangers earlier this month only for Hutton to reject the chance to move to White Hart Lane.
McCoist is unaware that Hutton may be having a rethink over a move to North London and insists the situation has not changed.
"All I can say is, to my knowledge, the bid was accepted and Alan expressed a desire to stay at the club," said McCoist.
"From a footballing point of view, I'm absolutely delighted, I'm thrilled.
"I'm not aware of any change of heart from Alan or anyone else."
