Jermaine Jenas hopes that the feel-good factor currently surrounding Tottenham will help them lift some silverware this season.
After a disappointing start to the season, which saw Martin Jol lose his job, Tottenham have recovered well under Juande Ramos to sit comfortably in mid-table and remain in the hunt for two major trophies.
They face Slavia Prague on Thursday in the last 32 of the Uefa Cup and have a Wembley date with Chelsea in the Carling Cup final a week on Sunday.
Preparations for the midweek trip to the Czech Republic were helped by an impressive 3-0 win over Derby in the Premier League on Saturday and England midfielder Jenas believes that the recent upturn in fortunes at White Hart Lane is down to the players enjoying their football again.
"When you play with a smile, that is when you are playing your best football and against Derby we showed that," Jenas said in The Sun.
"The manager has instilled a lot of confidence in the players.
"We want to go far in the Uefa Cup and win the Carling Cup.
"We have to maintain our form and do better."
