Spurs midfielder wants further trophies this season

Didier Zokora has spoken to skysports.com about playing his part in Tottenham's Carling Cup success against Chelsea on Sunday. The powerful Ivorian enjoyed one of his better games in a Spurs shirt at Wembley, as he largely bossed a congested midfield alongside team-mate Jermaine Jenas. While Avram Grant has made noises to the contrary, Zokora, like the majority that witnessed Spurs end a nine-year barren run in terms of silverware, believes the North London club were full value for the win. "We are delighted with the win, we were the better side," he told skysports.com. "Chelsea came to defend and were very lucky to score first - they were never dangerous. "(Paul) Robinson never made a save until my mate Drogba put the ball in the net."

Wembley dream

Zokora admits it was a dream to tread on the hallowed Wembley turf, and he was relieved his performance did the occasion justice. "I think it was one of my best performances for Spurs, I was glad because I was playing in the best stadium in the world. "I have dreamed about Wembley all my life." Rather than bask in the glory Zokora is keen to use the Carling Cup win as a platform for further success, urging his team-mates not to rest on collective laurels. "I want to win another cup this season," he concluded. "And to play in the Champions league next time. "We are not far from the big four. We almost beat Manchester United three weeks ago, so if we almost the beat the champions, we can beat any team on our day - as Chelsea found out on Sunday."
