Queens Park Rangers have begun their bid for promotion to the Premier League next season by completing the double signing of goalkeeper Radek Cerny and defender Peter Ramage.
Cerny has been on loan at Tottenham from Slavia Prague since 2005 and made 13 Premier League appearances this season after replacing out-of-form England keeper Paul Robinson.
The 34-year-old Czech keeper has signed a two-year contract with the ambitious Coca-Cola Championship side.
Ramage has moved to Loftus Road on a three-year deal after being released by Newcastle manager Kevin Keegan.
The 24-year-old defender made just three substitute appearances this season and Keegan was unable to guarantee the former Magpies trainee first-team football at St James' Park.
QPR are expected to be among the favourites for promotion next season as they are set for heavy investment from Bernie Ecclestone, Flavio Briatore and Lakshmi Mittal this summer.
However, Rangers are still without a manager after parting company with Luigi De Canio last week, with former striker Iain Dowie linked with the role.
