France international vows to leave champions

Reported Tottenham target Gregory Coupet has confirmed Saturday's Coupe de France final will be his last game for Lyon. The 35-year-old is believed to top Juande Ramos' wish-list, with the Spaniard certain to bring in a new goalkeeper as he has allowed Radek Cerny to join QPR. Lyon issued a statement earlier on Friday to suggest they had no intention of allowing Coupet to leave; but clearly the player has other ideas. The France international told the club's TV station OL-TV: "Yes, this will be my last match for OL." The earlier statement from Lyon read: "Lyon categorically deny having received any offer from the English club Tottenham about the transfer of Gregory Coupet. "Moreover, the club would like to remind everyone of the general fact that no discussions relating to possible transfers will take place before the Coupe de France final at the Stade de France on Saturday in which the club as a whole have all their focus."
