Spurs winger would welcome loan extension

Talented teenager John Bostock would welcome the opportunity to prolong his loan stint with Brentford. The Tottenham midfielder has scored two and created two in five appearances since joining the Bees on an initial one-month deal. Bostock has yet to break into the first team at White Hart Lane and insists he is better off playing in League One rather than turning out for Spurs' reserves. "I'm loving it here, I'm enjoying it. It's about playing competitive football," said the former Crystal Palace youngster. "At Tottenham I was playing youth or reserves, this is better for me as I'm learning. "My loan is up quite soon, I'm happy playing games here and I want to keep playing more football. I'll let the gaffer speak to Tottenham and see what happens." Bees boss Andy Scott has already indicated he would be keen to retain Bostock's services beyond the initial month.
