Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood has assured Harry Kane that he remains part of his plans and has a role to play this term.

A product of Spurs' academy system, Kane has had to be patient in his pursuit of first team recognition.
As a result, he has taken in regular loan spells away from White Hart Lane at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City and Leicester City.
It was suggested that he may have to leave on a similar deal this term in order to get game time as he remains some way down the pecking order at his parent club.
Sherwood has, however, told the 20-year-old striker that his time will come if he is prepared to continue providing cover for senior frontmen Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado.
He said: "Harry Kane has done brilliant. Since he's been back as the third striker he's been fantastic in training.
"He's had to be very patient. If I was Harry Kane, I'd be banging my door down every day and saying 'Why aren't I getting an opportunity to play' but he's respectful enough to know that we've got world-class strikers.
"He will get his time."
