Tottenham have landed a blow on Chelsea ahead of the Capital One Cup final with the Wembley arch turned white ahead of tomorrow's match.

The Football League gave fans on Twitter around the world the chance to decide what the colour of the Wembley arch should be as part of a unique first in the build-up to Sunday’s Capital One Cup final between Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

Fans voted in their droves using #ChelseaAtWembley and #SpursAtWembley but it was Spurs who have won the first battle as the arch was turned white on the eve of the final, which will decide the winner of the first major domestic silverware of the season

Who will 'Own The Arch'?

Jose Mourinho, who will be aiming to win his first trophy in his second spell as Chelsea manager, will be hoping this is not a sign of things to come for his team as the build up to their clash with Tottenham contiues.

However, Mauricio Pochettino will want Spurs' 'arch victory' to be just the start as the club aim for a repeat of their 2008 League Cup success against the Blues.

To celebrate the Capital One Cup final, Sky Sports has a day of live Sky Sports programming from Wembley Stadium with ‘Sunday Supplement’ (Sky Sports 1, 8:00am) and ‘Goals on Sunday’ (Sky Sports 1, 9:30am) also enjoying the backdrop of the home of English football.
