Ben Davies will miss Tottenham's final four games of the season after undergoing surgery on a dislocated shoulder.

The left-back sustained the injury during Saturday's 2-2 draw at Southampton; substituted after slipping and falling awkwardly after 76 minutes at St Mary's.

He will miss Spurs' Premier League games against Manchester City, Stoke, Hull and Everton but it is hoped he will return in time for Wales' European Qualifier against Belgium on June 12.

Spurs confirmed on Twitter: "Ben Davies has today undergone surgery after dislocating his shoulder vs Southampton. He will miss the remainder of the campaign."

Davies has made 29 appearances for Tottenham since signing from Swansea last summer, but only 14 of those have come in the Premier League, spending most of the campaign as second choice to Danny Rose.
