Cardiff v Bolton, Tuesday 7.45pm

This is a great opportunity for Cardiff to get three points and remind Aston Villa and Derby that they are still well in the battle for automatic promotion.

Bolton have been in excellent form lately, however, and will be by no means a pushover on Tuesday night. It's their chance to show Gary Madine that they will not miss him between now and the end of the season, and I think this will be a draw.

Prutton predicts: 1-1 (6/1 with Sky Bet)

Sheffield Wednesday v Derby, Tuesday 7.45pm

Slowly but surely, Sheffield Wednesday appear to be edging towards trouble. Their owners must be scratching their heads as they look at what Carlos Carvalhal is doing at Swansea in the Premier League at the moment!

Derby looked favourites for the second automatic promotion spot recently, but they have been drawing too many games lately while Aston Villa have looked unstoppable and nicked their place. That being said, I'm backing a narrow Rams win.

Charlton v Bradford, Tuesday 7.45pm

While I thought the sacking of Stuart McCall was extremely harsh, Bradford have made an excellent appointment in Simon Grayson. It didn't work out for him at Sunderland, but you only have to look at where they are now to see what a difficult job that was for him.

This is a big game for Bradford, with Charlton eyeing up their spot in the top six. The Addicks are two points behind the Bantams and this would be a big win for them, considering they have two games in hand. I just have a feeling that Bradford will nick this one.

Prutton predicts: 1-2 (11/1 with Sky Bet)

Portsmouth v Blackburn, Tuesday 7.45pm

Just when Blackburn looked likely to kick on and really challenge Wigan for the title, they have hit another blip and only won one in their last four.

Portsmouth finally ended their winless streak on Saturday, and it's easy to forget that they are a newly-promoted side sometimes, considering the size of the club. This will be a close game but I think Blackburn will just edge it.

Luton v Crawley, Tuesday 7.45pm

Luton are not quite smashing teams apart as they were earlier on in the season, but they are still well clear at the top of League Two and looking good for promotion.

Crawley are on an excellent run of form themselves, and if they can keep it up they will be right in the battle for the play-offs in a couple of weeks. This is a tough trip for them, though, and I'm backing a home win at Kenilworth Road

Prutton predicts: 3-1 (11/1 with Sky Bet)

Wycombe v Swindon, Tuesday 7.45pm

Wycombe's winning run came to an end at Exeter on Saturday, but St James' Park is an incredibly difficult place to go and there's no doubt Gareth Ainsworth will see it as a point gained rather than two lost.

Swindon will take Wycombe's place in the top three if they win on Tuesday night, but Wycombe are a formidable prospect at home and I think they will have enough to claim the three points, especially with their new goal machine Marcus Bean!

Prutton predicts: 2-0 (10/1 with Sky Bet)
