Blackburn required special dispensation from The Premier League to push through a month-long deal for Enckelman due to a shortage of fit keepers at Ewood Park.
The Finnish international linked up with Rovers after failing to make a first team appearance since O'Leary's appointment at Villa Park.
Enckelman spent much of last season as Villa's first choice but lost his place to Denmark's number one Thomas Sorensen.
The 26-year-old claims O'Leary made a judgement on his ability merely from watching videos of his displays and he believes he was not handed the chance to prove his worth.
"The manager made his decision by watching videos of me," commented Enckelman.
"I think that is a little bit unfair and I deserve a chance."
