Bury have raided fellow North West side Blackburn Rovers for young midfielder Gary Harkins.The 20-year-old has arrived at Gigg Lane on a month's loan with the aim of accruing greater first team experience.
He made three appearances for Huddersfield Town at the end of last season but has yet to be given his baptism by Blackburn.
Rovers boss Mark Hughes admitted last week that he was looking to farm some of his players out on loan and Harkins has joined the exodus.
Harkins has signed in time to make his Bury debut against Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile, The Shakers have confirmed they have terminated the loan of Andy Keogh, after Scunthorpe United agreed a fee for the striker with his parent club Leeds United.
