Blackburn duo Jonathon Douglas and James McEveley will stay at Gillingham.Blackburn Rovers duo Jonathon Douglas and James McEveley will stay at Gillingham until the end of the season.
Douglas and McEveley have impressed for the Championship strugglers since moving to The Priestfield Stadium in March.
Their loan deals were due to expire after The Gills' clash with Burnley on Saturday.
But they will now aid the club's bid for Championship survival until the finish after agreeing to stay on with the Kent outfit.
Both players have made five appearances since joining The Gills, with McEveley scoring in the 2-1 victory over Stoke City.
Their chances at Ewood Park have been limited this season and Gills assistant manager Ronnie Jepson is delighted Blackburn have consented to their stays.
"We have them until the end of the season now and that's good news," Jepson told the club's official website.
"They have made a difference, given us options in the team and they have both done very well."
