Wolves trial duo

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has handed trials to Danny Senda and Jemal Johnson.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has handed trials to defender Danny Senda and striker Jemal Johnson this week.

Senda (pictured) comes to Molineux in search of a new club after leaving League Two club Wycombe Wanderers at the end of the last season.

The 25-year-old had interested Championship rivals Luton Town and Scottish Premier League side Hibernian, but McCarthy will hand him the chance to earn a contract with the Black Country outfit.

Blackburn Rovers hit-man Johnson will also have a run-out with Wolves, having spent last season on loan with Preston North End and Darlington.

The 21-year-old is available for a permanent transfer or loan move, and it remains to be seen if the American-born goalscorer will sign on at Molineux this term.
