And Jackett keen on Hoskins return

Millwall have signed Trinidad & Tobago international defender Brent Sancho on a short-term deal. The former Gillingham and Dundee player is a free agent after leaving Priestfield in the summer and has agreed an initial one-month contract at the Den. Sancho played against England in the 2006 World Cup and is a welcome addition to Kenny Jackett's injury-hit squad. "It's been a difficult couple of months trying to find a club but I feel a bit more settled now," said the 30-year-old.

Opportunity

"I've been given an opportunity which I plan to take with both hands." Sancho could go straight into the Lions squad which travels to Luton on Saturday. And Jackett admits he would like to bring on-loan striker Will Hoskins back to the Den in the January transfer window. Hoskins joined the Lions in September from Watford and hit four goals in 10 games, but his loan spell expires next week when he will have to return to Vicarage Road. "At some stage I will speak to Will about what happens next," said Jackett. "We will go for players in January if they improve us."
