Mark Hughes believes Blackburn Rovers are about to enter a potentially decisive month in the club's season.
Rovers are pushing for a European spot and head to out-of-sorts Newcastle United on Saturday before four more games in March against teams below them in the table.
While Hughes still expects a test against his side's upcoming opponents, the Blackburn manager is looking for positive results.
"We have got games we feel are certainly within our ability to win," said Hughes.
Nice little run
"They are difficult, but we have games where we find ourselves up against teams below us and more often than not this year we have done really well against the bottom half.
"It seems the top half is beating the bottom half this season, so we hope that continues.
"We have a nice little run and then we have a difficult April and if we can come through this month and April in decent shape then hopefully we can finish the job off with the games we have remaining."
Meanwhile, Rovers winger Morten Gamst Pedersen is hoping the club can qualify for European football next season.
One game at a time
Pedersen said: "European competition is a little bit extra. It is good for us and good for the club and gives us a name in Europe.
"We will fight for a spot in Europe and we will do everything we can to get one.
"We know if we finish well like we did in previous seasons we have a good chance.
"But it is up to us; we have to work hard and take one game at a time and do our job in the league.
"If we have a really good game at Newcastle we will be one step closer."
