Steve Kean believes it would be 'disrespectful' to discuss any interest in David Goodwillie until Blackburn Rovers have had an offer accepted.
Dundee United are understood to have rejected a £1.8million offer from Blackburn for Goodwillie earlier in the week, with reports suggesting the SPL club want £2million.
Blackburn remain favourites to sign the Scotland international, despite interest from Rangers, but Kean was reluctant to expand on his interest in Goodwillie.
The Rovers boss confirmed the club have made bids for several players and is waiting to hear back in his pursuit of new signings.
"I don't really want to comment on any individual because it's a bit disrespectful to his club," said Kean.
"If we're putting bids in, which we have for three or four players and at the moment they're all active, if it gets accepted for any one of the players I would comment on the individual and the attributes he's going to bring to the club.
"At this second, I don't think any bids we've got out there have been accepted and I would rather pass on commenting on that."
