800-up for Terry
John Terry made the 800th start of his senior career on Saturday in Aston Villa's 3-1 defeat at Norwich, 18 years and 161 days after his first career start. Terry made his first senior start in Chelsea's 2-0 FA Cup Round 3 win at Oldham on January 2, 1999.

Cardiff became the first team since Nottingham Forest in December 2016 to miss two penalties in the same Championship game against Wolves on Friday night. Gary Madine had his penalty saved by John Ruddy in the 94th minute and Junior Hoilett hit the crossbar from the spot two minutes later.
Preston's defeat at Reading on Saturday was their fourth in their last five games. Alex Neil's men had lost two of their previous 20 Championship games before their current run.
