Villa are believed to be interested in signing the 22-year-old in the summer and Mullins insisted that he would jump at the chance of playing in The Premiership.
Mullins is not thinking of a move to Villa at present as he is trying to help Palace into the play-offs.
"If Palace accepted an offer I'd be delighted," said Mullins. "Of course I want to play in The Premiership, and Villa are a big club.
"But it's ridiculous to think about a move elsewhere when Palace have a chance of making the play-offs.
"It's down to Palace really and I've just got to concentrate on a must-win game against Walsall."
Mullins's agent Andrew Mills has played down reports that Villa have made an enquiry for the player.
"In my view I am not aware of any official conversation with Villa for Mullins," Mills told planetfootball.com "I think they would have contacted me if there was any interest.
"It is not impossible that it could happen, but I would not have thought there is a genuine possibility of it happening before the transfer deadline.
"I don't expect to be in Birmingham next week anyway."
Mills admitted that Mullins, who attracted the interest of Leicester City last season, was happy at Selhurst Park.
"Hayden is fine at Crystal Palace and they turned down an offer of £2.5 million from Leicester City last season when Peter Taylor was manager and I think he would be available for cheaper than that," said Mills.
