Gabbidon's stirring performances for The Bluebirds this season have caught the eye of several top flight sides with Aston Villa and Leicester City particularly keen on the full back.
First Division champions Manchester City have also been impressed by the 22-year-old and Kevin Keegan, along with Graham Taylor and Dave Bassett, watched the Welshman in action at Huddersfield last week.
However, if either of the trio decide to pursue their interest over the summer, they are likely to be met with a firm rebuff from Gabbidon.
The defender, who made his full international debut against Czech Republic last month, insists he has no reason to quit Ninian Park.
"Why would I want leave Cardiff? It's the place to be," said Gabbidon.
"I have two years left on my contract and I intend to be here as long as Cardiff want me."
Gabbidon was rescued from an unhappy spell at West Brom by The Bluebirds and has played a prominent role in the club securing a Second Division play-off berth this season.
He is indebted to Cardiff for giving him his chance and uses the Premiership interest as a spur.
"I owe a lot to Cardiff," added Gabbidon. "They plucked me from obscurity at West Brom when things were not going well for me.
"It's nice when big clubs are interested in you, and watch you play, but until they say they want to sign me, then I really won't believe any of it.
"I'm happy at Cardiff and we are doing really well. The fact that I know Premiership clubs are watching me says I'm playing well. I think it helps me play better for Cardiff."
