Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp insists it will be all to play for on the final day of the Premier League season.
Spurs failed to take advantage of Arsenal's home draw with Norwich after being held to a 1-1 draw by Aston Villa.
They now must hope their North London rivals slip up at West Brom as they take on Fulham at home next Sunday, to keep alive any chance of a top-three finish.
Redknapp told
Sky Sports: "One game to go. We need to win the last game to at least be guaranteed fourth place and if we win next week, we may even get third place, but Chelsea are still in it, Newcastle are still in there, Arsenal and ourselves, so there is all to play for last game of the season."
Arsenal must go to The Hawthorns on the last day and Redknapp is sure it will be a tough test for Arsene Wenger's men.
"It's a tough place to go and it will be Roy's (Hodgson) last game and he'll get a great reception I'm sure. He'll set his team up to get a result. They don't give in to anybody."
Tough game
And on the draw at Villa Park, the Spurs manager said: "I mean today, we needed to win today and it would have guaranteed fourth place going into next week's game knowing that if we won, we'd have finished third.
"But, it was a tough game. Villa showed that they're scrapping for that extra point to keep them in the division and they got it.
"Then, second half, getting Danny (Rose) sent off, you know, we're down to 10 men and one-nil down five minutes into the second half you're in trouble, but we responded unbelievable and for the following 40 minutes we camped in their half. There was only going to be one winner. We got a goal back and then just couldn't get the second one."
Asked on his view on the red card for Rose, Redknapp said: "He caught Alan Hutton, there is no doubt about that. He caught him on the shin. Danny is an aggressive little player but he's not a nasty player. There certainly was no intent."
