Want to know how to take the perfect penalty? Well, all-time Premier League record goalscorer Alan Shearer has been telling us…
Shearer scored 283 league goals in his career, including 260 in the Premier League - and 58 of those were penalties.
But what is the secret behind the former Newcastle United and England striker's success from the spot?
"I think half of it is psychology," Shearer - who is one of the ambassadors for the event - told the Premier League launch show. "You have to do your homework against the goalkeeper you are taking it against.
"Have you scored one against him before? I also used to look at where he had dived for his previous five penalties, whether he dived to his right, as everyone has their favourite side. Even goalkeepers!
"I also looked at where my favourite side was, as goalkeepers are also going to be studying you. But I am a big believer that if you pick your spot and do not change your mind, that is also crucial."
