Fulham and Newcastle United had both been considering the possibility of signing the full back on a free transfer.
Radet's deal at Auxerre was due to expire and it was widely expected he would end his association with his only club.
Tentative interest had been expressed by Fulham and Newcastle but both clubs opted against making a concerted effort to sign the 28-year-old.
Ligue 1 new boys Nancy had been locked in negotiations with the defender but became impatient and withdrew their bid.
Lille and St Etienne were also linked with Radet but he has now concurred on a deal to stay with Auxerre.
New Auxerre coach Jacques Santini will count on Radet in his plans for next season, with the player likely to sign a three-year deal.
