Coventry City have signed Livingston defender David McNamee for £100,000.
Coventry City have signed Livingston defender David McNamee in a deal worth £100,000.
The Scotland international ends his four-year spell at Almondvale following the club's relegation from the Scottish Premier League.
The former St Mirren and Blackburn Rovers right back has signed a three-year contract with The Sky Blues, as Adams prepares to mount a promotion challenge in The Championship next season.
"We've watched David on numerous occasions and know that we have acquired a very good right back who has excellent defensive qualities," Adams told Coventry's official website.
"In addition to this, he's a confident lad who isn't afraid of getting forward when he needs to and I'm sure that he will settle in quickly as part of the group here.
"I look forward to working with him when the players report for pre-season training at the end of the month."
As McNamee leaves Livingston, manager John Robertson has brought in Newcastle United midfielder Daryl Smylie on a pre-contract agreement.
The Northern Ireland Under-21 international played on loan with League Two club Stockport County last season, having been a regular in Newcastle's reserves in the past two seasons.
