Samuel Eto'o offered up the perfect response to Jose Mourinho after his manager had questioned his age. The Chelsea striker made light of the situation with an unforgettable goal celebration in front of the Stamford Bridge faithful.

He wheeled away in delight using the corner flag as a walking stick to ironically prop himself up, well and truly sending a timely reminder of his ability to the doubting Mourinho.

Wayne Rooney cheekily celebrated in front of delighted Manchester United fans by punching the air and falling to the ground in response to newspaper footage showing him reportedly being "knocked out" by Stoke's Phil Bardsley in a boxing match in his kitchen.

Rooney’s goal would prove to be the knockout blow for Spurs in a 3-0 victory for Manchester United that would eventually help them to secure a top-four finish to the 2014-15 Premier League season.

For better or for worse, Premier League legend Paolo Di Canio has always worn his heart on his sleeve. Di Canio's emotions were again on show for the Sunderland fans' entertainment during his first - and last - Tyne-Wear derby as Sunderland manager.

Di Canio slid on his knees in ecstasy after Adam Johnson's stunning effort from the edge of the Newcastle penalty area hit the back of the net and sent the visitors well on their way to a 3-0 away victory against their bitter rivals.

Balotelli revealed a message to his critics after opening the scoring in Manchester City's 6-1 thrashing of Manchester United

Balotelli opened the scoring with a precise finish just inside the United penalty area and celebrated by revealing a shirt with the words 'Why Always Me?' printed on it, unwittingly delivering one of the most memorable goal celebrations in Premier League history.

The Italian sparked the imagination of the City supporters after he had grabbed newspaper headlines for setting off a firework in his bathroom in the pre-derby build-up.

'Noisy neighbours' City won 6-1, and would go on to compound United's misery by finishing the 2011/12 season as Premier League winners.

Fergie and Kidd could not hide their delight after Steve Bruce scored an injury time winner against Sheffield Wednesday

In April 1993, Manchester United had not won an English league title for 26 years, and needed a win at home to Sheffield Wednesday to keep momentum up with six games remaining.

In the seventh minute of extra time, United duly delivered the goods. Steve Bruce nodded the ball in to make it 2-1 and 'Fergie Time' was born. Sir Alex Ferguson and Brian Kidd ran on to the pitch, barely able to control themselves, and United won the last five games to claim the title by 10 points.
