Stuart Pearce has admitted he would be prepared to listen to offers for Danny Mills.
Stuart Pearce has admitted that he would be prepared to listen to offers for Danny Mills, but is not contemplating selling Micah Richards.
Mills has slipped down the pecking order at Eastlands, largely due to the emergence of Richards, and had a successful spell out on loan at Hull.
The Tigers are keen to bring Mills back to The KC Stadium and Pearce would appear to be ready to ease a deal through in January.
"It is not prudent to suggest who might go but if an opportunity came for Danny to go and play some football then we would listen to it," Pearce told the Manchester Evening News.
"I think Danny would be open-minded too. He has kept his head down and had a good spell away at Hull and done well. The unfortunate thing for Danny has been the emergence of Micah Richards.
"Micah has flourished because he has got in the side and done so well for us."
Richards himself has been linked with a move away from City, along with Joey Barton and Sylvain Distin, but Pearce has reiterated that he is not planning to sell any of his key players.
"We want to keep the top players here not sell them," said Pearce.
"For all the speculation about one or two individuals at this club we have not had enquiries about those players and even if they came we would bat them away. I am pleased not to have those phone calls."
