Hughes hopeful on Brazilian's thigh problem

Mark Hughes believes Robinho should be fit for Manchester City's Uefa Cup game against FC Copenhagen. The Brazilian suffered a slight thigh problem during the 2-0 defeat to Portsmouth on Saturday and had to be replaced midway through the second half. He will now have treatment ahead of City's trip to Denmark on Thursday but Hughes is optimistic he will be available. "Robinho has a bit of tightness at the top of his thigh but he should be OK," Hughes said. Hughes will be short of strikers if Robinho fails to recover as Benjani Mwaruwari and Daniel Sturridge have already been ruled out of the clash. Darius Vassell also missed the clash with Portsmouth due to illness, although Craig Bellamy, Felipe Caicedo and Ched Evans are in contention.
