Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic is confident the Premier League champions can continue their impressive winning run.
Manuel Pellegrini's side wrapped up a fourth consecutive victory by overcoming Sunderland 4-1 at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday evening - keeping the gap on leaders Chelsea to six points in the process.
With a morale-boosting 3-2 Champions League win over Bayern Munich under their belt the previous week, Jovetic is encouraged by the atmosphere around Etihad Stadium.
The Montenegro striker, who netted the second goal against the Black Cats, said: "Honestly in the Champions League we have not played well this season but the game against Bayern helped us a lot.
"Now we are in a very good moment but we must continue like this because we are playing every three days and that can change, so we need to give 100 per cent in every game and be behind Chelsea and expect them to drop points.
"We have more confidence because we had some bad times two or three weeks ago when we didn't play so well."
City host Everton on Saturday, live on Sky, and then travel to face Roma for a crucial European clash next Wednesday.
