Jonathan Greening has completed his move from Middlesbrough to West Brom.
The former Manchester United midfielder, on the bench when The Red Devils won the 1999 UEFA Champions League, is the latest addition to Gary Megson's squad.
Megson had been bemoaning a lack of positive action in the market but has tied up a £1.25 million deal for the Boro man.
Further payments could follow depending on The Baggies' future progress.
The 25-year-old has penned a three-year contract with Albion holding the option over a fourth year at the end of that deal.
The Hawthorns outfit are one of the favourites to be relegated next season but Greening's arrival will provide some experience in midfield.
Middlesbrough's spending spree this summer has led to Steve McClaren's decision to off-load the former York City ace.
