Davies links up with Derby

Derby have snapped up Middlesbrough youngster Andrew Davies on loan.Derby County have snapped up Middlesbrough youngster Andrew Davies on a season-long loan.
Davies is highly rated at The Riverside Stadium and spent three months on loan at Queens Park Rangers last season.
The R's wanted to sign the centre half on a permanent basis but they failed to push through a deal and Davies has now joined The Rams.
The 20-year-old will spend the 2005/06 campaign at Pride Park, with his acquisition delighting new Derby boss Phil Brown.
"Andrew is an exciting young player - the kind of performer I'm determined to bring to Derby County," Brown told the club's official website.
"He has Premiership and England Under-21 experience and comes highly recommended by Steve McClaren."
In addition to bringing in Davies, Brown has also invited three players for trials in the East Midlands.
Macedonia international Artim Sakiri is training with the Championship side after his release from West Bromwich Albion.
Richard Edghill, who was axed by QPR at the end of last term, is also training with Derby, along with PSV Eindhoven's Lindsay Wilson.
