Mark Viduka has admitted he is frustrated with his lack of playing time at Middlesbrough, but will not make a rash decision on his future.The Australian striker has failed to cement a regular starting place under new Boro boss Gareth Southgate and is unhappy with his lot at The Riverside.
Viduka, who is in the final year of his contract, had been strongly linked with a move to Newcastle during the summer and he is eager to secure regular playing time.
"I want to be playing regularly but I'll wait and see because it's the last year of my contract," Viduka told The Sun.
"We're still finding our feet and Gareth has varied between one and two strikers, so I've got to see what happens.
"There was some action with another club, but there's always action in the last day before the transfer window closes."
Julio Arca played 68 minutes for Boro's reserves against Blackburn on Monday and should his broken foot show no reaction, he is likely to be in contention for the Premiership clash with Everton in a fortnight.
