Injured trio George Friend, Simon Gillett and James Chambers are closing in on a return for Doncaster Rovers.
The Championship outfit hope defender Friend and midfielder Gillett will be back in training within four weeks.
Meanwhile, defender Chambers is also close to returning for Rovers, being in his last couple of weeks of rehab.
Speaking about Friend and Gillett, club physio John Dickens, who has been overseeing their rehabilitation, told the club's official website: "George came out of his leg brace on Friday.
"We can do a lot more active work with him.
"The same applies to Simon. His knee is healing well, four weeks of hard work and then back into training."
As regards Chambers, Dickens added: "Chambers is in his last couple of weeks of rehab. We will soon know whether his knee can cope with full training."
