Striker completes £1.75m move from Middlesbrough

Swansea have completed the signing of striker Leroy Lita from Middlesbrough for a fee of £1.75million. The price was agreed last week and all that was left was for Lita to undergo a medical with the Welsh Premier League side. He has now clinched a move to the Liberty Stadium after being assessed by the Swans' doctors on Tuesday. Lita, 26, has signed a three-year deal with the club to become Brendan Rodgers' fourth summer signing after Danny Graham, Steven Caulker and Jose Moreira. Swansea supporters may get their first glimpse of Lita in Wednesday night's home friendly against Celtic. The transfer ends Lita's two-year stay at Boro, having played for Bristol City, Reading, Charlton and Norwich earlier in his career.
