It had previously been thought that Boa Morte would move to the continent in the summer when his season-long loan spell at Craven Cottage comes to an end, with a move to Spain, France or Portugal in the offing.
However, Fulham are now believed to have put in motion a clause that allows them to buy the striker from his club Southampton, something that was agreed by both teams in August.
Boa Morte himself has previously stated that he wanted to wait and see what offers were put to him in the summer, but now Cottagers boss Jean Tigana is keen for him to commit himself to what will inevitably be a Premiership campaign next season.
The former Portuguese Under-21 international could be tempted by Fulham`s offer, with the promise of regular first-team football in the top-flight.
