Fulham chief Chris Coleman has aimed a parting shot at flop Steve Marlet.Fulham chief Chris Coleman has aimed a parting shot at flop Steve Marlet.
Marlet is set to end his unhappy spell at Craven Cottage by sealing a move to Wolfsburg.
The French international has failed to prove his worth since his £11.5 million switch from Lyon and Fulham are ready to cut their losses on the striker.
Marlet spent the last two seasons on loan at Marseille, but returned to Fulham after the French club failed to turn his loan move into a permanent deal.
Wolfsburg are now set to snap up Marlet on a free transfer and Coleman is happy to see the back of him after he rejected the chance to play for Fulham last season.
"He refused to play in the second game of the season and to me, that is sacrilege," said Coleman.
"It was all about wanting to get a permanent move to Marseille and, quite honestly, I don't want to talk about him. That is all history."
