Chris Coleman expects Zat Knight to return a stronger player after his indiscretions.Fulham boss Chris Coleman has told Zat Knight he expects the star to learn his lesson after his late night antics.
The stopper, who was included on England's summer tour to America, missed the 3-2 defeat to Manchester United and was fined two weeks' wages after breaking a club curfew with a visit to a nightclub.
With a recall on the cards for Monday's clash against Charlton, live on Sky Sports 1, Coleman has advanced his hopes that Knight will clean up his act and use the experience to better himself.
"Zat has been disciplined internally and now he's got to learn his lesson," said Coleman.
"Any player will tell you that the biggest punishment you can receive is to be told that you're not playing, and Zat ended up missing one of the biggest games of the season.
"I know he has been disappointed with that but hopefully he'll come back stronger as a person and a player."
