Fulham and Italian duo Udinese and Fiorentina are trailing Charlton's Jay Bothroyd.Skysports.com understand Fulham and Italian duo Udinese and Fiorentina are trailing Charlton's Jay Bothroyd.
All three clubs are believed to be monitoring Bothroyd's situation at The Valley.
Bothroyd joined Charlton last August from Perugia, but he has been unable to hold down a place in Alan Curbishley's starting line-up.
Marcus Bent's proposed move to Charlton will increase competition for places at Charlton and clubs are hoping to lure Bothroyd away from South East London.
Bothroyd is highly regarded in Italy after his successful spell with Perugia.
Udinese boss Serse Cosmi is a big admirer of the former Arsenal youngster having worked with him at Perugia and enquired about signing him before he moved to Charlton.
Cosmi is believed to have kept tabs on the player's situation and is keen to bring him to Udinese as doubts continue to surround the future of star striker Vincenzo Iaquinta.
Fiorentina have also been long-term admirers of Bothroyd and even tried to sign him while they were in Serie B.
Fulham are thought to be in the market for a new striker as they have struggled for goals this season.
Chris Coleman has been scouring the transfer market for a forward and sees Bothroyd as a key addition to his squad.
