Fulham's Niclas Jensen has revealed he is unsettled by the arrival of Wayne Bridge.
Fulham full back Niclas Jensen has revealed he is unsettled by the arrival of Chelsea defender Wayne Bridge.
The signing of Bridge, on a season-long loan from The Blues, represented a real coup by Cottagers manager Chris Coleman.
However, the switch has not gone down well with everyone at Craven Cottage, with Jensen, now fit after injury, fearful that Bridge has already usurped him in the team's left back slot.
Jensen acknowledges that Bridge would have been unlikely to agree to a switch to his paymaster's London rivals unless he was offered guarantees over regular first team football.
"Fulham had probably not been allowed to loan Wayne Bridge unless they guaranteed him playing time." sighed Jensen to BT.
"Naturally, it does not look fantastic for me in the near future. The reason I joined Fulham was to get playing time.
"I started the first 13 or 14 matches, but then I got injured and then they choose to do this.
"It's not bearable long term. I will fight for the place, that is all I can do."
