Fulham manager Chris Coleman believes the future is looking bright for the club after bringing in two talented youngsters already this summer.Swedish striker Bjorn Runstrom and former Leyton Orient defender Gabriel Zakuani have both linked up with the Welshman's first-team squad after joining The Cottagers last week.
Coleman has confirmed that neither player is likely to be a regular feature at Craven Cottage next season but believes the pair will be gems to look out for in the future.
With the future looking rosy, Coleman will now turn his attentions to bringing in some experience to the Fulham squad before the transfer window closes at the end of August.
French striker Sydney Govou and Crystal Palace defender Emmerson Boyce have been strongly linked with a move to Fulham and Coleman is hopeful of bringing in the players to help the club realise its potential next season.
"Bjorn Runstrom joins us for training this week," he told the club's official website.
"Gabriel Zakuani played the second half against Exeter on Saturday and was outstanding. But we haven't necessarily bought these two players for this season.
"They're going to make a difference for us and will undoubtedly add to our squad because they are good, young players.
"We're trying to build the squad with a mixture of youth and experience.
"We've got some good, young players now and once Gabriel and Bjorn have picked up a bit of experience, they will really shine.
"But hopefully that's not where it's going to end in terms of new signings.
"We're still looking for a couple of other players with more experience and if we can do that, a top 10 finish is possible."
